6 oz Plain flour
4 oz Butter
2 oz Sugar
1 oz Candied peel; chopped finely
Preheat the oven to 180C. Place the flour, butter and sugar in a bowl and
mix to breadcrumbs with your fingertips. Add the candied peel, then combine
to make a ball of dough.
Sprinkle a little sugar on the work surface, roll out the dough and cut
into Christmas shapes such as stars or trees. Make a hole in each biscuit.
Bake for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and cool. You can thread ribbon
through the holes and hang the biscuits on your Christmas tree.
