2 c All-purpose flour 1 1/4 c Sharp cheddar cheese —
4 ts Baking powder Shredded
1 tb Sugar 1 ea Egg — beaten
1/2 ts Onion salt 1 c Milk
1/2 ts Oregano — leaf 1 tb Butter — melted
1/4 ts Dry mustard
Combine flour, baking powder, sugar, onion salt, oregano, dry mustard
and cheese; set aside. Combine egg, milk and butter; add all at once
to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Spread batter in a
greased 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 inch loaf pan. Bake at 350 deg. for 45 min.
Yield: 1 loaf.
