2 1/4 ts Yeast 3/4 c Water
3 c Bread flour 2 lg Egg
1 ts Anise seed — crushed 1 ts Lemon juice
3/4 ts Salt GLAZE:
4 tb Sugar 1 c Powdered sugar
4 tb Nonfat dry milk powder 1/2 ts Anise extract
3 tb Unsalted butter 3 ts Water — or more
Add all ingredients except those for glaze. Use basic cycle. While
the bread cools to room temperature prepare glaze. Glaze cooled
bread on top and sides. Let dry before slicing.
