Apple Crunch Coffee Cake

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Bisquick
2/3 c Milk
3 tb Sugar
1 Egg
2 c Apples:thinly sliced & pared
2 tb Nuts; chopped

-STREUSEL TOPPING-
2/3 c Bisquick
2/3 c Brown sugar
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1/4 c Margarine

-GLAZE-
1/2 c Powdered sugar
2 tb Milk; to 3 T milk

Heat oven to 400. Grease 9 x 9 square pan. Mix baking mix, milk,
sugar and egg; beat vigorously 30 seconds. Spread half of the batter
in pan. Arrange apple slices on batter; sprinkle with half of the
topping. Spread remaining batter over apple slices; sprinkle with
remaining topping. Sprinkle with nuts. Bake about 25 minutes, cool.
Drizzle with glaze. Topping: Combine dry ingredients, then cut in
margarine.
