1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
2 Whole Eggs
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Vanilla
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking Powder
1 ts Baking Soda
1 c Buttermilk
FILLING
1/2 c Brown Sugar
1/4 c White Sugar
2 tb Flour
3 tb Butter
1/2 c Nuts; Finely Chopped
1 1/2 ts Cinnamon
Cake:
1. Cream together utter, sugar and eggs.
2. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with butter milk to
first mixture; add vanilla.
3. Pour half the batter into greased 9″ x 9″ pan.
4. Top with nut mixture; repeat.
5. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes.
Filling:
1. Work all ingredients together until crumbly.
