4 Eggs
4 tb Granulated sugar
1/2 ts Salt
2 c Sour cream
1 ts Baking soda
Vegetable oil (for frying)
5 tb Cake flour
TO MAKE THE HOTS: To the container of a blender, add the eggs, salt, baking
soda, cake flour, sugar, and sour cream. Process until smooth and set
aside. Heat a gridle over medium-high heat, then add enough vegetable oil
to lightly coat it (2 to 3 tablespoons). Ladle enough of the batter onto
the griddle to make 2-1/2 inch rounds (about 3/4 tablespoon). Cook until a
few bubbles appear on the top; turn and cook on the other side until golden
brown. Makes about 50 hots (2-1/2″ round)
