Ingrients & Directions


2 1/4 c Cake flour
1/4 c Granulated sugar replacement
2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
1/2 c Cocoa
2/3 c Vegetable shortening;
-softened
1 c Water
2 ts Vanilla extract
3 Eggs

Sift flour, sugar replacement, baking soda, salt and cocoa together into
large mixing bowl. Add shortening, 1/2 c. of the water and vanilla extract;
beat until just moistened. Add remaining water and eggs. Beat until
slightly thickened. Pour into well-greased and floured 13″ x 9″ baking pan.
Bake at 350F for 40 to 50 minutes or until cake tests done. Yield: 24
servings, 99 calories each Exchange, 1 serving: 1/2 bread, 1 1/2 fat
