8 Glace cherries
4 oz Softened butter
4 oz Caster sugar
2 md Eggs
4 oz Self-raising flour
1 tb Finely chopped candied peel
Preheat oven to gas mark 5/375F/190C. Quarter glace cherries. Cream butter
and sugar together. Beat eggs.
Little by little, mix the beaten egg into the creamed butter. Sift flour
and fold in. Fold in glace cherries and candied peel.
Place 12 paper cup cases in a 12-cup bun tray. Divide cake mix among cases
and bake for 10-15 mins until risen.
