Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c BUTTER 1/2 ts BAKING SODA
6 tb SUGAR 1 1/8 c FLOUR, SIFTED
6 tb BROWN SUGAR 1/2 ts SALT
1/2 ts VANILLA 1/2 c CHOPPED NUT MEATS
1 ea EGG, BEATEN SLIGHTLY 6 oz CHOCOLATE CHIPS

BLEND BUTTER, SUGARS, AND VANILLA; ADD BEATEN EGG. MIX TOGETHER FLOUR,
SODA AND SALT. ADD TO BUTTER MIX. ADD A FEW DROPS OF HOT WATER. MIX UNTIL
WELL BLENDED. STIR IN CHIPS AND NUTS. DROP BY 1/2 TEASPOONSFUL ONTO
GREASED COOKIE SHEET. BAKE AT 350 DEG F FOR 10 TO 12 MINUTES.
