2 1/2 c Flour
1 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Butter
1 1/2 c Brown sugar; firmly packed
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1 ts Orange rind; grated
1 c Dairy sour cream
1/2 c Pecans; chopped
FROSTING
1 1/2 tb Soft butter
1 1/2 ts Orange rind; grated
3 tb Orange juice
3 c Sifted powdered sugar
Sift dry ingredients and set aside. Cream butter and brown sugar, add eggs,
vanilla, orange rind and sour cream. Stir in dry ingredients, blending
well. Add nuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake
at 350? for 12-15 minutes. Top with frosting while still warm. About 5 doz.
FROSTING: Combine all ingredients, beating well until spreading
consistency. Place 1/4 teaspoon frosting on each cookie.
