Rum Balls (cookies)

Ingrients & Directions


2 1/2 c Vanilla wafers; crushed -crumbs, 1 cup powdered
1 c Powdered sugar -sugar,
2 ea Tb Cocoa; unsweetened 1/2 c White corn syrup
1 c Nuts; finely chopped 1/4 c Rum
Pecan halves 1 c Powdered sugar
Combine vanilla wafer

and cocoa, mixing well. Add the nuts, syrup and rum, stirring until
well blended. Shape into 1″ balls and place on waxed paper. Let stand
1 hour, then roll in powdered sugar to coat and press a pecan half in
each ball. Store in tightly covered container for three days.
