Fudge Syrup

Ingrients & Directions


1/2 c BUTTER OR MARGARINE
3 oz UNSWEETENED CHOCOLATE
3 c WATER
1/2 ts SALT
15 oz CAN OF EVAPORATED MILK

MELT BUTTER IN THE TOP OF A DOUBLE BOILER OVER BOILING WATER. ADD
CHOCOLATE, HEATING UNTIL MELTED. ADD SUGAR, 1/2 CUP AT A TIME,
STIRRING UNTIL DISSOLVED. STIR IN SALT. SLOWLY ADD MILK. MIX WELL.
CHILL SEVERAL HOURS BEFORE USING.
