PUDDING
6 sl Bread
1 c Cream
4 Eggs; well beaten
1 c Milk
1 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
1/4 ts Salt
-SAUCE-
2 tb Flour
1 cn (large) Evaporated Milk; (I
-use 1 pint Half & Half)
1/2 Stick margarine
1 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
Break bread in large pieces, place in baking dish. Combine all ingredients
and pour over the bread. Mix and sprinkle over above: 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
and 1/4 cup sugar. Dot with butter and bake at 375? for one hour. This is
best served warm. (See Sauce recipe below)
Mix ingredients for Sauce and cook until thickened.
