Baked German Pancakes

Ingrients & Directions


3 Eggs
1/2 c Flour 1/2 t Salt 1/2 c Mi

—–FILLING 2 T Butter 2 Large apples –
peeled & sliced 2 T Sugar 1/2 t Cinnamon Whip eggs to blend. Sift flour,
measure it, sift again with salt.Add flour and salt to eggs in four
additions, blend smooth. Add milk in two additions and beat in butter
(oil). Butter bottom & sides of 9 – 10″ heavy frypan. Pour in batter. Bake
in over @ 450 for 20 min; reduce heat to 350 for 10 min(or 15 min. Cake
will climb walls of pan. Slip onto plate, add filling, serve. FILLING: Melt
butter in fry pan. Add apples. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon. Cook over
low heat until glazed & tender. Spoon into center of cake. Add apples.
