Banana Marble Cake*

Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 c All purpose flour 1 c Mashed ripe bananas (large)
3/4 c Splenda granular sweetner 1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 ts Baking powder 3/4 c 2% plain yogurt
1 ts Baking soda Marble
1/2 ts Salt 2 tb Fry’s cocoa
1/4 c Soft margarine 1 tb Splenda granular sweetner
2 Eggs

Combine flour,splenda,baking powder,baking soda and salt: set aside.In
large mixer bowl,beat margarine,eggs,banana and vanilla until
smooth.Blend in flour mixture alternately with yogurt,beating just
until smooth after each additiion.Measure out 3/4 cup batter and stir
in cocoa and splenda for marble.Pour plain batter into greased 9″
square baking pan.Spoon chocolate batter on top.Draw knife through
batters to create marbled effect.Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30
minutes or until tester inserted in centre comes out clean.Cool on
rack.

Note: Cakes are a delicate balance of ingredients, so some
experimentation may be necessary on your own recipes.Some changes you
will need to make to your own cake recipes.Beat fat with electric
beater,at high speed for 1 minute.Add eggs,flavoring,beat for 30
seconds.Sift together dry ingredients,including splenda. Add
alternately eith liquid in 3 additions,mixing on low for 30 seconds
to 1 minutes with each addition.Check for doneness 5 to 10 minutes
sooner than usual.
