Blueberry Pudding Cake

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Blueberries
2 tb Lemon juice
1 c Flour
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Nutmeg
3/4 c Sugar
1/2 c Milk
1 Egg
1/4 c Butter — melted
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Sugar
1 tb Cornstarch
1 c Boiling water

Place blueberries and lemon juice in an 8×8 inch pan. Mix flour,
baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and 3/4 cup sugar. Beat in milk, egg,
melted butter, and vanilla. Spread over berries. Mix 1 cup sugar with
cornstarch and sprinkle over batter. Pour boiling water over all.
Bake at 350^ for 40 – 50 minutes.
