Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Cake

Ingrients & Directions


1 3/4 c FLOUR 2 ea EGGS
2 c SUGAR 1 c MILK
1 1/2 ts BAKING POWDER 1/2 c OIL
1 1/2 ts BAKING SODA 2 ts VANILLA
3/4 c COCOA 1 c BOILING WATER
1 ts SALT

COMBINE ALL DRY INGREDIENTS IN A LARGE BOWL. ADD ALL OTHER INGREDIENTS
EXCEPT FOR THE BOILING WATER. BEAT UNTIL WELL MIXED, ABOUT 2 MINUTES AT
MEDIUM SPEED. STIR IN BOILING WATER (BATTER WILL BE THIN). POUR INTO
GREASED PAN (EITHER 1, 9″ X 13″ OR 2, 9″ ROUND). BAKE AT 350 DEG F FOR 30
TO 35 MINUTES FOR ROUND PANS OR 35 TO 40 FOR SHEET PAN. COOL 10 MINUTES IN
PAN, THEN REMOVE TO WIRE RACK AND COOL COMPLETELY.
