1/2 c Cocoa
4 oz Butter
2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Vanilla
3/4 c Boiling water
2 c Sugar
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 c Sour cream
3 Egg whites

Mix the cocoa with boiling water and stir until smooth. Cool. Cream
butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add cocoa mixture. Sift flour,
salt and soda together. Fold in the dry ingredients alternately with the
cream until smooth. Add the vanilla and lastly the stiffly beaten egg
whites. Pour into two greased paper-lined 8in. Bake at 180 C (350 F) for
about 45 mins. Fill with fresh or mocked cream when cold.
