Cheese Appetizer Cookies

Ingrients & Directions


4 oz (1 cup) shredded sharp
-cheddar cheese.
1/2 c Mayonaise or butter softened
1 c All purpose flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 ds Ground red pepper

Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. In a medium bowl,
combine cheese, margarine, flour,salt, and red pepper. Mix thoroughly and
Cover and chill for 1 hour. Heat oven to 375 degrees. Shape the dough into
1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with
tines of fork or use surface of meat tenderizer dipped in flour. If
desired, sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake at
375 for 10 to 12 mins.
