Chocolate Chip Cookies #5

Ingrients & Directions


4 oz Cake flour -or-
6 oz All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1 ts Vanilla essence
4 oz Granulated sugar
1 1/2 oz Brown sugar
1 Egg
3 oz Vegetable shortening
1/2 pk Chocolate chips

This recipe was given to me years ago by Canadian friends because I enjoyed
the cookies so much. I hope you will too.

Sift toogether the first three ingredients, then mix everything else except
the chocolate chips in thoroughly. Add the chocolate chips. Drop
teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet (well spaced out – they spread)
and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375F.
