1 c Soft butter 2 1/2 c Flour – sifted
3/4 c Brown sugar 1 c Almonds – sliced lengthwise
1/2 ts Vanilla 1/2 c Each red and green cherries
1/8 ts Salt Whole
Cream butter, add sugar and then add vanilla, salt and flour.
Finally add nuts and cherries and form into rolls. Leave in ice box
overnight. Slice thinly with a sharp knife and bake on greased
baking sheet in moderate oven (375 F) for 10 minutes.
