2 c Butter or margarine; room
-temperature
3 c Powdered sugar
2 Eggs
2 ts Vanilla
1 ts Almond extract
5 c Flour
2 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Cream of tartar
Preheat oven to 375 F. Cream together powdered sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla
and almond extract. Combine and add dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill
several hours or overnight. (Can be left in fridge up to 2 weeks). Roll out
to 1/4 inch thickness, cut and decorate as desired, and bake on sprayed
cookie sheet for 7-8 minutes or until lightly browned.
NOTES : This is a double recipe. Can be halved if desired.
