1 c Sugar
2/3 c Butter
2 Eggs
1 lb Pecans
1 lb Dates
1/2 lb Raisins
1 ts Vanilla
1 1/2 c Flour
1 ts Cinnamon
1 ts Cloves
1 ts Soda mixed in:
2/3 c -hot water
1/2 c Wine
1 pn Salt
Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs and vanilla. Flour dates, raisins and
pecans. Add remaining flour and dry ingredients along with soda, water and
wine. Bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
