3/4 c Butter; melted
2 c Sugar
2 Eggs; beaten
1 pk (9-oz) mincemeat
1 c Chopped nuts
3 c Plain flour
1 ts Soda
1 ts Cream of tartar
Cream butter & sugar. Add eggs. Crumble mincemeat & nuts & mix well. Add
dry ingredients. Dough will be very stiff. Shape dough into long, thin
rolls. Wrap with waxed paper & chill several hours or overnight. Slice
cookies 1/8-inch thick & bake on lightly greased cookie sheet at 350 for
12-15 minutes. Makes 9 dozen cookies.
