2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Cloves
1/2 ts Ginger
1 ts Cinnamon
3/4 c Butter or margarine
1 c Sugar
1 Egg
1/4 c Molasses
In first bowl, sift together flour, salt, baking powder, cloves, ginger,
and cinnamon. Put aside. In second bowl, cream together butter, sugar, egg,
and molasses. Add flour mixture 1/3 at a time to cream mixture. Chill until
hard-ish, shape into balls, roll in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 15
minutes (more or less gives crunchy or chewy).
NOTES : These cookies are spectacular!!!
