Crumb Top Apple Pie (mom’s)

Ingrients & Directions


6 Tart apples
1 ts Lemon juice
1/2 c Brown sugar
1/4 c Water
Butter, cinnamon and nutmeg

Peel, slice, and put apples into large pie crust. Sprinkle lemon juice and
sugar over apples. Add water Dot with butter and cinnamon.

Topping:
1/3 c butter
3/4 c brown sugar
3/4 c flour Cream butter and brown sugar add flour, mix well into
crumbs sprinkle over top of apples bake 375 for about 45 minutes. make sure
apple juice bubbles through middle of pie, this shows it is done.
