1 Baked pie shell
2 c Milk
1/2 c Flour
2/3 c Sugar
1 ds Salt
3 Egg yolks; beaten
2 tb Butter
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Peanut butter
1 c Powdered sugar
Scald milk. Add flour, sugar & salt. Cook a few minutes, stirring
constantly. Before it thickens, add a few drops of hot mixture to beaten
egg yolks, stir well & pour into hot mixture. Add butter & vanilla. Crumble
together peanut butter & powdered sugar like pie dough. Add half peanut
butter mixture to hot mixture. Stir well. Pour into baked pie shell, top
with meringue & the other half of peanut butter mixture. Bake at 350 until
golden brown.
