Syrup Pie

Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 c Sugar
1 1/2 c Dark cane syrup
5 Eggs
1 ts Salt
1 Lump of butter; the size of
-an egg
1 (10-inch) unbaked pie shell

Beat eggs, add sugar and beat. Add salt, syrup and butter; mix well. Pour
into unbaked pie shell. Bake in hot oven about 10 minutes. Lower oven heat
to 350 degrees and bake until firm, about 40 minutes. (Test to see if knife
comes out clean.) This makes a large pie.
