6 sl Bacon; cut in 1/4-inch

1 c Chopped white onion
2 Eggs; beaten
3/4 c Sour cream
1/2 ts Salt
1 ds Pepper
1 pk (12-oz) shredded Swiss
-cheese
9 (3-inch) unbaked tart shells
Chopped chives (optional)
Fry bacon until crisp. Drain on paper towel. In bacon grease saute onion
until tender but not brown. Drain off fat. Combine in bowl eggs, sour
cream, salt, pepper, cheese, onion & bacon. Pour into tart shells. Bake at
375 for about 25 minutes or until knife inserted half-way between outside &
center of filling comes out clean. Garnish with chopped chives.
